Is HabitMuse available to download?
HabitMuse is preparing for its first Android release. It is not yet publicly available on Google Play or the App Store. We’ll add official download links here when it launches.
Do I need an account?
Core habit tracking works locally. Google sign-in is used for optional account features, including Google Drive backup and community feedback.
Where are my habits stored?
Habits and private progress are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to Firestore. If you choose Google Drive backup, a backup is stored in your own Drive app-data folder.
How do I back up or restore?
Open Profile in HabitMuse, connect your Google account, and use the backup or restore controls. Confirm that you are using the same Google account when restoring. Review the restore confirmation carefully before replacing current data.
Keep a verified backup before clearing app storage, uninstalling, or changing phones.
How do I change analytics and ad choices?
In Settings, open the usage analytics / Help improve HabitMuse section for usage analytics, crash reports, and session replay. These choices are separate and optional. Ad privacy choices appear in Settings where Google’s consent system requires them.
Why didn’t a reminder appear?
Check that the habit is scheduled for that day, notifications are allowed, and any requested alarm permission is enabled. Your phone’s battery or background restrictions may affect reminder delivery.
How can I delete my account or data?
Use Profile → Delete account, or request deletion by email without reinstalling the app. Local device data and your Drive backup are separate.
